The TSL-supported Environment Forum aims to enable city-wide environmental conversations and discussions.
Third Sector Leeds supports an Environment Forum, which aims to bring environmentally-focused networks, forums, organisations and individuals together, to aid communication, to minimise duplication and to enable city-wide environmental conversations and discussions.
This forum meets once a quarter to share information and to develop collaborative working on environmental topics across the city.
This forum also provides the place for third sector representatives to feedback conversations and discussions that they have taken part in and a mechanism where they can consult with a wider environmental audience on appropriate themed issues.
The Leaders forum include representatives from the following networks and organisations:
- The Leeds Parks and Green Spaces Forum
- The Conservation Volunteers
- Friends of the Earth
- Leeds City Council
- Third Sector Leeds
...and is looking for more people to join! It can reach out through established networks and forums to over 300 groups and organisations.
How to get involved
- Attend the meetings: Anyone can attend these meetings which run quarterly, and include updates from the key partners, city-wide environmental developments and conversations on agreed themes and topics. The Leaders forum also encourages people to bring environmental conversation to the table to discuss and action where appropriate.
- Join the membership: If you are interested in being added to the forum, which will include receiving information from other members and dates, agendas and minutes of the quarterly meeting.
*** The forum is currently in a period of inactivity and this page will be updated when more information is available. ***
