Voluntary Action Leeds, with the support of Leeds Community Foundation, are holding a funding fair in Leeds, open to any voluntary, community or faith group in the Leeds district. Just drop in and meet a range of funders and support agencies including: Leeds Community Foundation, Heritage Lottery Fund, Yorkshire Sport Foundation, Sir George Martin Charitable Trust, Wades Charity, Leeds City Council Communities Team, Leeds City Council Children and Families Commissioning, Housing Advisory Panels, Leeds Inspired, Leeds Civic Trust, Safer Communities Fund; HMRC (Gift Aid Outreach Team), Voluntary Action Leeds (funding advice), WYCAS, LCC Funding Support and Funding Leeds. There will be a workshop on “Gift Aid” at 10.45 – 11.45 by HMRC. You don’t need to book just drop in to chat to any of the above organisations and/or attend the HMRC workshop. You can talk to funders to find out if your organisation and the work it is delivering or hopes to deliver is eligible for funding and get some tips on how best to make a funding application.
