Why the event?
The Project has been established since November 2016 and service delivery started in February 2017. A year later a full service review and an independent external evaluation were completed and the partners wish to share both interim and key findings and how the project is starting to make a difference for women and girls in Leeds.<h3>Who is going to be there?
The event will be opened by Councillor Judith Blake the leader of Leeds City Council, will have representatives from the Big Lottery to set the scene, will include voices from a service user perspective, present the learning and be FUN.
The event is due to start at 10.30am but refreshments will commence from 10.00am.The event will conclude with a light lunch from 1.00pm (so if you have any dietary needs please contact the event organiser).
Who is invited?
Women's Lives Leeds are inviting Strategic Leaders, Decision makers, Commissioners and Senior Officers from all disciplines, including Public Health, Leeds City Council, the Clinical Commissioning Group, Police and Community Safety, the Private Business Sector and the Third Sector. Existing or previous Women's Lives Leeds Service Users can attend, so the event will be set in a Child Friendly setting, where activities will be provided in the same room to keep those young people occupied, but a formal crèche has not been arranged.
Outcomes of the event?
As a result of attending the event attendees will learn: more about the Women's Lives Leeds Project; what interim findings are telling us about the services the project offers and how they are different to others; how both the project and partnership has developed as a result of ongoing learning; and what the early indications are for improving the outcomes of the women and girls who have accessed the Project’s services.
Structured with FUN in mind, be sure to experience lighter activities, initiatives and networking opportunities, along with a light lunch to finish.
