IntoUniversity Volunteer Training

Are you passionate about helping young people to achieve their goals and aspirations? Want to gain experience working in an education setting?

When Friday 15 February at 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Where IntoUniversity Leeds East
St Aiden's Community Hall, Elford Place West LS8 5QD
Our after-school Academic Support Programme provides free support to young people in a stimulating classroom environment. Our secondary school students receive help with homework, coursework, revision and study skills. Our Primary school students take part in an exciting session around a different topic every term to get them excited about learning.

Our volunteers are an integral part of our centres. Volunteers act as role models, supporting academic progress and providing inspiration and encouragement to young people who are at risk of not meeting their full potential due to social or economic barriers.

Our training session will give you more information about IntoUniversity and the volunteering roles available at Academic Support. No previous experience is required as you will receive full training for the role during this session.

If you would like to attend or would like more information, please email or ring 0113 532 7039.  Back to all events
