Where Leeds Town Hall
The Headrow Leeds LS1 3AD

Come and join us for this year’s Third Sector networking event “Developing the Practitioner’s Tool kit".

This is your opportunity to:

             - meet other third sector organisations at the “market stall”
             - share best practice
             - learn about recognising and responding to neglect
             - find out how to work with families creatively and improve practice
             - have your say in the development of the practitioners tool kit

The workshop is an opportunity for Third Sector organisations to input into the Practitioners Tool kit for assessing and responding to neglect, that is being developed by Leeds Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP).

Practitioners will be given the chance to use the range of tools available with case studies which reflect some of the day to day situations they could come across when working with children, young people and families, where there are concerns around neglect.

Practitioners will be able to provide feedback on the tools which are being developed to support all practitioners in assessing and responding to neglect.  The feedback gained will be used to guide any further development of the tools.

Once completed the toolkit will be available on the LSCP website and be an additional source of information for all organisations across the city.

Please book a place today -

*Please note* - Tea and coffee will be served on arrival however people are welcome to bring their own lunch and further refreshments to continue networking with others after the event.
