Celebrating Small Groups and Small Charities in Leeds 2019

The Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Eileen Taylor invites you to a Civic Reception to Celebrate Small Groups and Small Charities in Leeds

When Monday 1 July at 4:00pm to 6:30pm
Where Leeds Civic Hall
Banquet Suite Civic Hall Leeds LS1 1UR
If you are part of that vast number of small groups and charities that helps to make Leeds a great place to live, then this event is for you!

A small group or charity includes anything from a tiny volunteer run community or self-help group with no staff and little money, to a voluntary organisation with a turnover of less than £20,000

Your group will receive a certificate of recognition from the Lord Mayor of Leeds and a commemorative leaflet including details of the groups attending.

When we confirm your booking, we will ask you to provide us with a short paragraph to tell us about your group to include in this leaflet.
This event will also provide you with an opportunity to:

  • Find out about advice, training, funding and other support to help you run your group
  • Be better informed and influence what is happening in Leeds
  • Find out about the networks and forums that your group can be part of, including Community Committees, Third Sector Leeds and other forums.
  • Sign up for newsletters and email alerts about training, funding, events and see what the Doing Good Leeds website can link you into.
Places are limited to 4 per organisation.

**This is usually a popular event, so booking is essential by Friday 14 June**
