Volunteer Befriender Information Drop-In

A free Drop-In event to find out about becoming a Volunteer Befriender for an isolated older person in Farsley, Pudsey or Horsforth.

A free Drop-In event for anyone who would like to find out about joining MHA Live at Home's Community Support Project team as a Volunteer Befriender to support an isolated and vulnerable older person in Farsley, Pudsey or Horsforth  

The Community Support Project (CSP) is a National Lottery funded project working with Time to Shine and Leeds Older People's Forum in Leeds to help prevent social isolation and loneliness.    CSP is keen to meet you if you can spare one or two hours each week to provide friendship and support with getting out and about in the community for periods of up to 10 or 12 weeks.  

Full training is provided, as well as a friendly and caring volunteering team network.
 
No booking required, just call in.
