Skin Psoriasis is a red scaly rash with thick plaques that affect approximately 2% of people in the UK.
Skin Psoriasis is often chronic and can be associated with disease of the joints in approximately 30% of people. The joint disease is called Psoriatic Arthritis.
This can lead to joint destruction and disability especially if left untreated. People can be affected by this disorder at any age, young or old.
