Maternity and Neonatal Services in Leeds Consultation Drop-in - Carriageworks Auditorium

A consultation in Leeds to find out people’s views about our plans to centralise maternity and neonatal services at LGI and our proposals for hospital antenatal appointments

When Wednesday 11 March at 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Where Carriageworks Auditorium
3 Millenium Square, Leeds, LS2 3AD
Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust is planning to build two new hospitals at Leeds General Infirmary (LGI). This change provides us with an opportunity to improve the way we deliver maternity and neonatal services in Leeds. We are planning to;
  • centralise maternity and neonatal services in LGI so that all services are in one place and we can keep families together when they need to use neonatal services
  • build a brand new midwifery-led unit at LGI
  • consult on the way we provide hospital antenatal services
  • keep community antenatal services the same
We want to speak to a range of different stakeholders in Leeds, including women and their families, the wider public and young people.

You can find out more about our plans and proposals at one of our drop-in events. You don’t need to book, just come along! At the events, you and your family will be able to:
  • speak to NHS staff about the new hospitals in Leeds
  • ask questions about our plans and proposals for maternity and neonatal services in Leeds
  • get involved in children’s activities
Romanian, Arabic and Tigrinian and British Sign Language (BSL) translators will be at this event.
