The Running Order:

5pm - Arrival at the Hotel, our room will be signposted in reception

5:15pm - Tahera Mayat hosts a weekly themed Twitter chat #CharityHour, which occurs on Wednesday evenings 8-9pm. Launched in 2014 by Harrison Mann (Bradford digital marketing agency), the chat brings together charities, volunteers, donors and freelancers that work with charities to share and learn from each other. Tahera has experience of growing various Twitter accounts. This talk will cover how to make the most of Twitter hours and Twitter generally as a charity. The journey from zero to over 10k followers on @CharityHourUK involves being human while staying professional, making the most of limited time and collaborating with others. It can be easy to get stuck in a rut with your content too so learn about #CharityHour behind the scenes.

5:35pm - Sarah Goodyear, from Fall Into Place will talk about why intergenerational friendships are so important, yet are becoming less and less common in modern day life. Sarah will share how they’ve learnt to foster strong bonds between people of different ages using drama, how to challenge age related stereotypes and how to build confidence in people who don’t normally participate in drama. She’ll also share some top tips on how adding a bit of playfulness into your working day can significantly reduce stress and help to form closer, happier relationships with others.

6pm - Move into the bar area for optional socialising (stay for as long as you like!)

This event is FREE but please make sure that you RSVP on Eventbrite so that we can get an idea of attendance numbers.
