Shared Well Project Worker
Hours of work: 15 hours per week over 2 days (preferably Thursday and Friday, although some flexibility will be needed)
Salary: £19199.68 full time (pro rated for part time). This post has confirmed funding for 9 months.

Older People’s Action in the Locality (OPAL) supports older people to live independently in their own homes. We have funding from Time to Shine to employ a Shared Well Project Worker for 9 months.
The Shared Well Project Worker will support older and frail individuals living in the Leeds 16 and Moor Allerton areas to improve their quality of life and increase their social and support networks.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with older people, assessing individual care needs and providing support, including outreach support. Key to the role will be your ability to build trusting relationships quickly whilst motivating individuals to make sustained changes, working sensitively and overcoming barriers to access.
You must be motivated, enthusiastic, have excellent inter-personal skills and be sympathetic to older people. You will have demonstrable planning and organisational skills used to deliver your targets.
You will use your knowledge and expertise of community groups to build and develop relationships with a wide range of services and activities, in order to address social care needs, signposting and offering support to individuals to participate and benefit from community based activity.
You must have your own car and have a full licence.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview and assessment at Welcome In.
