Job Title:Universal Advocate
Salary: £20,200 per annum, pro rata for part time working (pay review pending)
Hours: 30 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated and passionate about upholding the rights of people, to work as a Universal Advocate and join our existing team of advocates already providing this service across Leeds.
You will work as an advocate based initially in the Community Advocacy team however, will over time and with training, work flexibly across a range of specialist advocacy areas including Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Care Act Advocacy (CAA), Health Complaints Advocacy and Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA).
Excellent communication and time management skills are key requirements to make this job a success, as well as a commitment to supporting the rights of vulnerable people.
You need to be working or have worked in a similar role and be willing to work towards achieving the Independent Advocacy Qualification (IAQ).
