We have an opportunity to apply for the role of LGBT Health Inclusion Project Coordinator at Advonet.   This post will involve leading an innovative new LGBT project together with our partners CHANGE and Yorkshire MESMAC, to demonstrate how access to health services can be improved for LGBT people with the additional needs of learning disabilities, mental health and autism. You will lead a team of facilitators and trainers, an illustrator, a workplace evaluator and volunteers in the development and testing of a range of mechanisms, including self-advocacy workshops, resources, peer support and health professional training.

We are looking for someone with experience of working together with LGBT people with additional needs to develop services, with experience of partnership working, leading project work, and a commitment to a co-production approach.

As this is a fixed-term contract for one year the successful candidate will need to be available for a start date of the 1st April 2019. Because of this we would particularly open to candidates joining us on secondment from organisations who will be keen to share the learning from this exciting partnership project.

To apply for this role please complete the Advonet Application Form and Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form, which can be found on our website, along with additional information about the role (CVs will not be accepted).

If you would like more information or an informal chat about the post please call on 0113 2440 606 and ask to speak to Wendy Cork
