We’re working together to end homelessness; could you work with us?
We’re looking for a top notch warehousing professional, to help us meet objectives that will take our business to the next level. We want Emmaus Leeds to be the best charity retailer in Leeds; to do that we need a strong warehousing operation and you could be the person who will help us to make this happen.
Emmaus Leeds is a different kind of charity/social enterprise because the people we support are also part of the team that delivers our retail operation.
We provide a home and meaningful work to 26 people who have experienced homelessness, offering them a stable home and an opportunity to find a long term route out of homelessness. Our social enterprise needs an efficient warehouse because we depend on it to support the enterprise activities that fund our community. As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be playing a crucial role in the success of Emmaus Leeds.
We are looking for a warehousing professional who can:-
· Strategically manage the warehouse in a way that fulfils the Emmaus’ guidelines.
· Initiate, co-ordinate and if necessary enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
· Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
· Setup, layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
It is essential that you have held a full driving licence for 2 years and have worked in a warehouse before.
Ideally you will have had experience of the charity or re-use sector, but if not do not let this stop you contacting us, we are keen to find someone who can add to our team. You will need to be self confident but also a good team player who can work effectively under pressure with a diverse group of people.

The position will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring check for work with adults at risk. We will be paying £17,804 per year for a 5-day, 37.5 hour working week. You will be required to work Monday to Friday. Tuesday to Saturday.
