To provide appropriate emotional and practical support to women involved in sex work (and any other women who may require this service), with specific needs relating to sexual violence, developing best practice for working with women experiencing sexual violence.
Working within a specialist sexual violence approach, you will be supporting women who require holistic emotional and/or practical support. You will engage with multi- agency efforts to enable effective safeguarding and protection with women’s wishes at the heart of your work. You will, support them to navigate criminal justice processes if they wish to do so.
You will ensure women are effectively supported through traumatic experiences and increase their confidence in coming forward to access justice. You will play a key role in advocating for improved responses to sexual violence including pathways through the criminal justice processes and take the lead on developing and promoting best practice for supporting women with experience of sexual violence within and outside of the organisation.
