Leeds University Union, affectionately known as LUU, is a charity that helps over 38,000 students love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, LUU is a space for students to meet people, make new friends and get involved.
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Workflow Manager to support our marketing activity across the organisation, ranging from our bars and venues to our societies and, help and support services.
This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate joining a high-performing marketing team within one of the nation’s leading students’ unions.
The Marketing Workflow Manager will play a pivotal role in planning communications throughout LUU’s Marketing Team; working with copywriters, designers and digital professionals to the point of delivery. You will be proactive, looking out for potential problems to arise and offering workable solutions before they escalate.
You will need a general knowledge of print process and production methods and/or online digital production methods. You will need to be able to analyse briefs and feedback where necessary, working within a fast-paced environment within established processes. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills with a positive attitude, and a key strength will be your ability to evaluate projects and make recommendations for future activity.
Ideally we’re after an individual with three years’ experience working as an account handler, studio trafficking or a production role who is ready to take on the more senior position of Workflow Manager.
You should have a creative flair and an understanding of multi-channel communications. Experience of project management in some capacity will also be essential, alongside proven stakeholder relationship building and bucket loads of initiative.
We offer 26 days’ holiday (plus generous statutory and customary closure days) and a pension scheme. LUU’s Marketing Team offers flexible working around our core business hours of 10am to 4pm.
Closing date: 9am Wednesday 22 May 2019
Interviews: Thursday 30 May 2019
