Description

Changing Lives are leading a partnership from the women’s sector, Together Women, Grow, WomenCentre, Basis Yorkshire and A Way Out, to work across the North East and Yorkshire in areas where there are emerging, live and recent sexual exploitation investigations.

 

The role will provide trauma informed support to women over the age of 16 who are victims/survivors of sexual exploitation. Working as part of the STAGE (Support to Overcome Trauma for Adult Survivors of Grooming and Sexual Exploitation) Partnership Project, you will be supporting women using a theory of change which includes engaging through assertive outreach, helping to overcome trauma and complex emotions, empowering to build positive social networks and building on strengths through exploring their options.

 

You will also support women to access the Criminal Justice System should they wish to do so, enabling women to stay safe and bringing perpetrators to justice.
