People Matters is seeking a part time Deputy Director; Education and Community to join our team.
You will develop and deliver a programme of classes and activities that meets the needs of members who have a learning or other disability/disadvantage and will be based from our Holbeck Office in Leeds. This role is responsible for leading service delivery and developing and line managing a team of employees. You will ensure that all activities and classes are delivered to high quality standards, overseeing the design and delivery of an offer that is appealing and meets the needs of our members. You will also be responsible for ensuring that contract reporting meets funders expectations.
As Deputy Director; Education and Community, you will be a qualified and experienced teacher, ideally with experience in FE/Adult Learning and/or those with special educational needs. You will also have a sound knowledge of best practice and quality standards expected for the successful delivery of learning opportunities to ESFA and OFSTED standards.
