Description

Are you an experienced and talented project manager with a commitment to improving outcomes for families? This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and manage a successful multi-partner programme.

Leeds City Council in partnership with 16 organisations from the voluntary and community sector are successfully delivering the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) Stronger Families Programme supporting families with multiple needs to improve their skills and move closer towards employment and training, in Bradford and Leeds. The programme is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund (ESF).

The postholder will be employed by Barca-Leeds and based with Leeds City Council.   We are looking for a confident leader with experience of partnership working, strategic thinking, an eye for detail and with strong people skills. As Project Lead, you will ensure that programme objectives are delivered on time, within budget, to expected levels of quality and meet the BBO and ESF compliance rules.

The role will involve significant engagement and management of delivery partners focused on facilitating a collaborative delivery of outcomes. You will build and maintain relationships with the funders and other strategic stakeholders and partnerships.

In addition, ideally you will have a proven track record of working as part of a dispersed team and be effective in managing competing priorities and workstreams within a complex project, responding quickly and appropriately to changing needs and be able to demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills.
