This role is for 4 hours a week - Monday afternoons (term time) to assist a deaf post graduate student in undertaking a teaching placement (Health and Social Care) at Shipley College . The Teaching Placement is the PGCE / Lifelong Learning/ Post 16 students.
Requirements of this work as follows:
To be happy to follow instructions from Emily to support the communication flow.

To assist with the general running of the class ·
To be totally reliable and follow Shipley College policies / general code of practice.
Its a min of 4 hours a week from 12:30/ 12:45pm - 4.30pm - every Monday from 7 January until the end of March 2020 (term time only) with the possibility of some more hours beyond this date, including the second year placement, which should be at the same time. There is also the occasional (monthly) meeting - usually held on a Wednesday morning - where note taking is required - but this isn't essential. It is hoped that you will be able to attend one class in advance of January to shadow (this would be paid at the same rate).
This is self-employed work paid at a rate of between £16-£17 an hour, in arrears by BACS, at month end. (More details will be given about this & the invoicing process.)
