Hamara HLC are currently recruiting for Support Workers. The role of a Support Worker will involve supporting and enabling clients to be independent whilst promoting dignity and choice.

The Support Worker will deliver support, social and personal care to the client, ensuring that a person centred approach is used so that the clients can maximise their independence.

Support Workers will support the client by promoting the use of leisure and educational facilities and employment and volunteering activities in the local community.

The role will involve producing support plans and keeping up to date with the client’s family and care provider e.g. Leeds City Council. Accurate record keeping will be essential. Other tasks will include facilitating outings and trips for the clients and encouraging integration into the local and wider community.
