This role will provide the management and day-to-day oversight of the charity’s finances. The Finance Manager will produce timely management accounts on a monthly cycle to enable the CEO and the team to make financial decisions and should work closely with the Operations Manager and the CEO.  

Role specific responsibilities;

  • Ensure that financial recording, reporting and forecasting procedures are in place and are operating effectively
  • Provide sound financial advice to the Trustees and the Chief Executive
  • Produce annual financial statements, including consolidated accounts for any trading entities, and arrange for their audit, filing and distribution
  • Prepare and submit corporation tax and VAT returns as required, taking specialist advice as necessary
  • Assist the CEO in the production of strategy documents and associated forecasts, annual budgets, or analyses of performance as required for both internal and external use.
