Care & Repair Leeds is the Home Improvement Agency for the city, highly regarded for providing a range of services for older people and disabled people to help them to remain living independently in their own homes. As an independent Registered Society with charitable status covering the whole of the Leeds Metropolitan District area, we have been providing services since 1987.
We are recruiting for a part-time Finance Officer to support the Finance & Facilities Manager with the efficient running of our financial systems and procedures, ensuring the organisations’ financial position can be reviewed at any time. To ensure the accurate status of the management accounts, including budgets, month/year-end accounts, and producing reports to commissioners, funders, management team, and the Board of Trustees. To be successful for this role, you will be used to dealing with management information, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication.
You will be organised, self-motivated, able to prioritise effectively and multi-task. You will be qualified to at least AAT Level2/3, part qualified as an accounting technician or equivalent qualification/experience. You will have a track record and working knowledge within the financial book-keeping field for at least 2 years, including using accountancy software, preferably Quickbooks Online, and IT software including MS Excel.
