Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL).  We are looking to recruit a full time Project Worker who is able to work flexibly, is a good organiser and able to be part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The Project Worker will be part of  VAL’s Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) Project.  VAL has been working with the Private Sector to organise ESV for the Third Sector; this is where teams of people, or sometimes individuals volunteer within Third Sector organisations. The majority of the ESV work is around organising teams of volunteers but also includes Skills Exchange where individuals share their skills with Third Sector Organisations.

As well as working on the ESV Project, the post holder will be asked to work on other VAL projects, this could, for example, include community development, training, research, partnership working and other areas.

In return we can offer flexible working, good terms and conditions of employment, enrolment to the Simply Health scheme and a 6.5% pension contribution.  VAL is a Living Wage Employer and Mindful Employer.

The closing date for completed applications is 9am on Wednesday 4 March 2020.

Interviews will be held on Friday 13 March.

We do not accept CV’s.  The application pack can be downloaded below.
