Nourishing People supports up to 8 trainees per day to gain real work experience as they work in all areas of business and are supported by a job coach. In order to take Nourishing People to the next level we are now looking for a Development Coordinator.
The Development Coordinator will
- Lead on all areas within the enterprise.
- Line manage all trainees, marketing/promotion, stock packaging, sales, customer service, posting and deliveries
- Establish a business plan that demonstrates and delivers sustainable business growth.
- Support the development manager with the organisation's fundraising, income generation and development.
You will have experience of starting or growing a micro business/social enterprise and ideally working with people with hidden disabilities. You will also have a proven track record of sales business to business or customer and leading a diverse team.
This role is a minimum of 21 hours per week. Must include Thursdays and Fridays. The salary is £21,166.60 pa. FTE
For the right applicant this role could be extended to include management responsibilities uplifted to the appropriate pay scale and up to a maximum of 35 hours per week.
People Matters is a charity based in Holbeck, Leeds. We work with young people and adults with learning disabilities, autism and other hidden disabilities to create opportunities to increase independence and to live their lives in the same ways and same places as everyone else.
