Added: 12/11/2020

Leeds ACTS!

Leeds ACTS! (Academic Collaboration with the Third Sector) is hosting a series of online workshops on Dementia.

It is a unique opportunity for academics from Leeds Beckett, Leeds Trinity and the University of Leeds to come together with third sector representatives to discuss challenges in dementia care and to seek opportunities for collaboration.

The first of the workshops will be held on the 18th November 1pm-3pm via Microsoft Teams, the topic of the workshop is Supporting people with Dementia and Frailty with creative interventions in the community. The workshop will include presentations about creative and artistic interventions in the community, as well as a chance for discussion about future opportunities for research and collaboration. We encourage people working at universities or in the third sector to who already work in this or a related field, as well as people new to the field to attend and contribute to discussions.
