Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) aims to ensure the voice of communities in Leeds are heard and influence the design of services. The Leeds Voices project (commissioned by NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group Partnership) is a key element of this work and ambition.
About Leeds Voices
The Leeds Voices project supports the engagement of citizens and communities in the development of health services in the city. Our approach is unique and
Engaging Voices — works with a network of third sector organisations to engage with marginalised communities
–works with employers in Leeds to engage with employees in the workplace
Leeds Health Ambassadors
–a volunteering programme supporting engagement with the wider public and patients in Leeds
We are not currently seeking peoples view around specific health topics, however we value the ongoing feedback of partners in regard to communities experiences of NHS services.

- Developing a diabetes strategy for Leeds
- Primary Care Mental Health services
- Social Prescribing
