Little Hiccups is a support group based in Leeds for families that have children with a disability or special needs.
If you are looking for support why not get in touch with Little Hiccups - they have a Christmas meal and trips to the cinema and pantomime coming up!
Little Hiccups was set up by two mums, Linsay and Jenny, who both have children with disabilities in 2009.
Through personal experience they recognise the importance of allowing the parents and families of a child with a disability the opportunity to meet people in similar situations, to make friends and support each other.
What's on offer at Little Hiccups
- Thursday Club - a weekly support group and play session at Headingley Children’s Centre each Thursday between 1pm-2.30pm during term time.
- Family Fun Days - once a month, activities and days out for families (siblings, cousins, relatives, all invited). including heavily subsidised trips to the cinema (for our private use), Sensory Leeds, Sundown Adventure land, Cannon Hall Farm, bowling, The Growing Zone, Abbey House museum and many others!
Being part of the activities gives parents a chance to chat to other carers in similar situations and children are able to learn through play, make friends and have fun!
