For the 7th year running, Community Links has achieved the prestigious accolade of Best Companies Accreditation and will be listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies.

The 2014 Best Companies two star award, which is based solely on employee feedback recognises Community Links as an 'Outstanding' employer. Despite austere times, the survey identified ‘Personal Growth’ as one of Community Links’ highest ranking factors, demonstrating the value which employees place on the organisation’s continued investment in skills and training.

Work-life balance

Community Links also significantly improved staff experience in the area of ‘Welllbeing’ by going the extra mile to ensure that employees are fully supported to manage workplace stress and achieve a work-life balance.   This award is hot on the heels of the charity retaining Investors in People Gold and Champion status. It is more evidence that Community Links is a truly cutting-edge organisation operating at the very highest levels of people management practice.

Jon Woolmore, Chief Executive of Community Links said:

“This accolade illustrates the commitment and loyalty of employees who are the cornerstone of the organisation.

"Our high level of employee engagement translates into excellent services improving the lives of people we work with.  It proves that charities can achieve great things during challenging times.”

Celebrating their achievement, Donna Gooby, Director for Diversity and HR said:

“All employees are highly skilled, professional, passionate and committed to achieving excellence but we've never taken this dedication for granted, so we're thrilled to know that our goal of making Community Links a truly great place to work has received official recognition from Best Companies."

The Sunday Times Top 100 will be published in February and Community Links will be listed in the Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations.
