LeedsACTS! is looking for third sector members to join the Partnership Group to further develop collaboration between third sector organisations and the city's three universities.
LeedsACTS! (Academic Collaboration with the Third Sector) is a partnership between the city's three universities and third sector organisations. LeedsACTS aims to build relationships between researchers, students, charities, voluntary and community organisations to foster joint working for the benefit of the communities of Leeds.
LeedsACTS! is looking for new third sector partners to join the Partnership Group and help foster collaborative opportunities between the Third Sector and the universities. The partnership group meets quarterly and helps to facilitate a series of events, including the seedcorn funding stream and events based around city priorities. LeedsACTS! also leads on the Third Sector Infomatics Project (TSIP), which aims to help the sector in Leeds use data and informatics better and thereby contribute more fully to the city's shared agendas.
If you are interested in joining the partnership group, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, and we encourage you to come along to our next partnership meeting on Tuesday 1 December 1400 - 1530 in Room 407 in the Portland Building at Leeds Beckett.
