Ideas that Change Lives launch new workshop series

Leeds Community Foundation and SEE Ahead are delighted to announce a new series of Ideas that Change Lives workshops.

Over the coming months they will be hosting a range of workshops that will provide social enterprises, charities and community groups with everything they need to know about starting, growing and running their own organisation.  

The events will be aimed at individuals who are connected to an existing social enterprise, looking to establish a social enterprise, develop an enterprise arm to an existing charity or expand and develop an existing organisation.  

Workshops includes: 

- Getting it right – all you need to know to be legal - Provides  a basic understanding of everything social enterprise needs to do to keep legal.  
 - Social impact reporting - Focuses  on the principles and methods involved in the process of measuring social impact.
Does your marketing work for you? - Introduces marketing as a key business activity and builds awareness of the importance of the marketing function.
   - Income – where does it come from and what do we need to do to get more - Details how enterprises can generate further income through grants, fundraising, loans and social investment.


All events will be held at The Enterprise Foundation, Symons House, Belgrave Street, Leeds, LS2 8DD offices from 9.15am – 12:30pm.
