AVSED is on the Move

Funding secured for office build but we still need additional resources if anyone can help

AVSED is the Neighbourhood Network Scheme for older people living in the LS19 and LS20 postcodes of Leeds (Yeadon, Rawdon and Guiseley) – we have been preventing the social isolation and promoting the health, wellbeing and independence of older people since 1992.

We have recently gained funding of £15,067 from the Asda Community Foundation (supported by the Asda Living store in Guiseley) to build an office within the ANSA Clubhouse in Nunroyd Park, Yeadon, where we can create a Hub for local older people and have all our activities and services under one roof.  Fantastic news! BUT there are a few things we still need….Do you have any of these you could donate?  Could you make a donation to the value of one of these items?  Is there any way you could help? We would like to add your individual, company or charity name to the ‘You helped to make this Happen’ board at our new premises (with your permission of course!) as a way of saying ‘Thank you.’
