Leeds City Council's waste services are looking for a third sector organisation to run a new re-use shop. The shop is due to open in January 2017.
In 2011, Leeds City Council opened its first re-use shop at the Seacroft recycling site. This very successful and popular re-use shop is run by the community interest company, Revive Leeds, which is a partnership of the three Leeds re-use organisations, Emmaus Leeds, St Vincent de Paul, and SLATE. A second re-use shop will open in January 2017, when the redeveloped Kirkstall Road recycling site re-opens. Waste Service are starting the process to select a tenant for the Kirkstall re-use shop. This opportunity is unusual as it is restricted to the third sector. An open day about this opportunity is being held on Tuesday 19th April at 13.00 hours at the council offices at Knowsthorpe Gate, Cross Green Leeds LS9 0NP.
Places can be booked (2 per organisation) by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You can find more information about this opportunity in the document below.
