Police and Crime Commissioner research - young victims of crime

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire has recently launched a study exploring the experiences of young victims of crime in the county.

This is an important study which gives young people a real opportunity to shape services for young victims of crime in the future. The research has three main strands: an online survey; a series of interactive workshops; and one to one interviews, giving young people a chance to have their say in more depth.   The research consultancy Ecorys is carrying out the project on behalf of the OPCC, and is looking for support from VCS organisations to publicise the research with any young people they might be working with – they are keen to make sure as many young people as possible have a chance to participate.

The survey can be found at https://s.chkmkt.com/victimsvoice or for more information contact Kate Smith, research manager at Ecorys, by phone on 0113 2904106 or by email at kate.smith@ecorys.com
