Would you like to volunteer for a world-class sporting event in Leeds?
Event organisers are looking for 750 volunteers to make Leeds Triathlon on 11th and 12th June one of the UK’s sporting highlights of the year. From experienced volunteers to complete beginners, organisers hope to encourage people of all ages and abilities to get involved by becoming a Leeds City Ambassador. Training will be provided.
There will be a variety of roles and tasks including: race officials, supporting participants along the course, handing out drinks, or giving medals to finishers in the mass-participation races. People can volunteer for three days from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June or for just one day by completing the application form online at: http://leeds.triathlon.org/volunteer/
For those new to volunteering or who would like more information there will two drop-in sessions held between 10.30am and 12.00pm on Tuesday 24th May and 12.00 and 1.30pm on Wednesday 25th May at Volunteer Centre Leeds, 2 Great George St, Leeds, LS2 8BA.
