GroceryAid: Your Industry Charity

What is GroceryAid?
GroceryAid is the national charity (no. 1095897) for grocery people and is looking to increase its involvement in the Leeds area.

Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteer for GroceryAid and become a professionally trained volunteer Welfare Assessor or Befriender.

GroceryAid has a dedicated team of Welfare Assessors and Befrienders who volunteer their time helping our beneficiaries. They are our front line and without them we would be unable to offer the breadth and depth of support to those in need.

If you are interested in finding out more about how you can help with our welfare work and spend time with our beneficiaries then please contact Sandie Hall, Volunteer Co-ordinator, on sandie.hall@groceryaid.org.uk

How can GroceryAid help?

Whether you work for a manufacturer, wholesaler, the supply chain or grocery store, you can turn to GroceryAid for financial help and practical support.

GroceryAid helps thousands of grocery people all over the UK who have worked, or are working, and who need some extra support to get by. In the coming year we will spend £4M on welfare support, both financially and through the GroceryAid Helpline.

The Helpline offers support and guidance to all within the industry and is available via our website or on freephone 08088 021122.
The charity raises money through a variety of fundraising events, donations and corporate sponsorship.
