Leeds Connexions to close on Friday 29/07.

An update on the closure of Connexions and its legacy.
The careers and training advice service for young people not in education, employment or training, aged 16 -19 years in Leeds will close on Friday 29 July 2016. It is no longer taking referrals.A new Leeds City Council service will be available in the future - information about this service will be available on the Leeds Pathways website later this month.
Aspire-igen who ran Connexions continue to offer a range of other services and the Opportunities Centre at Eastgate will remain open.
- Young people aged 16-19 (25 if the young person has learning difficulties/is learning disabled) can continue to drop into the Opportunities Centre to find out about aspire2work.
- The National Careers Service remains available from the Opportunities Centre.
