Could you help raise awareness of accessibility issues in games whilst also helping to raise money for a fantastic charity?
With the current Pokémon Go craze there has been increasing awareness of the lack of accessibility of computer games for people with sight loss. A volunteer in our team has had a great idea of getting groups of game developers together to compete to develop audio games for people with sight loss. Anyone can play these games online and vote for their favourite. "Audiogame Jam is an online computer game development event to raise awareness of game accessibility issues and raise money for RNIB.
Over ten days programmers, artists and audio engineers will work to create accessible games playable by anyone with sight loss. When the event is over the completed games will be posted online for all to download and play. To join the event or find out more visit http://jams.gamejolt.io/AGJam, and follow on Twitter with #AGJam."
