Newly released report on Young Lives Leeds' recent workshop about the citywide children and young peoples' Emotional and Mental Health strategy.
On 5 October, Young Lives Leeds members with an interest in the Emotional and Mental Health of children and young people came together to find out about Future in Mind (Leeds' EMH/SEMH strategy).
They received an up to the minute update about the strategy and discussed how the needs of children and young people have changed, and ways that the third sector can help.
Some great learning and ideas came out of the session, including a request to share the 'Mindmate curriculum' (a teaching resource for young people) more widely.
If you want to read the workshop report and strategy 'Plan on a Page' or take part in the debate please sign up to the Young Lives Leeds forum in the new DoingGoodLeeds portal.
The portal is a resource for third sector practitioners to share good practice and communicate freely. Groups and forums provide a place for members to have conversations and share best practice, please join in at http://portal.doinggoodleeds.org.uk/
