New volunteering research project launched

Please let us know about your experiences of volunteering in Leeds, to help inform third sector organisations in Leeds on how to improve their volunteering practices. Three £15 gift vouchers are up for grabs!

Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL), Leeds City Council & Leeds Volunteer Managers Network are working in partnership to undertake up to date research around Volunteering in Leeds.

The research project will examine who in Leeds volunteers, what it’s like volunteering in Leeds and what levels of support are available to volunteers in Leeds.

As part of this research we are asking people with current or previous experience of volunteering to take part in a survey, either on-line or through completing a questionnaire.

The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete and all your answers will remain confidential and anonymous. We are offering all people completing this survey free entry to win one of three £15 on-line gift vouchers.

This survey will allow us to gain an insight into the volunteering that takes place in Leeds so that charities and organisations can use this to improve their practices.

You can complete the on-line survey through the link below:

You can access a hard copy of the questionnaire through the download link in this news article.

If you have any questions or queries about this research then please contact Gary Blake by email or on 0113 297 7920.
