Corporate Volunteers on Offer!

Would you organization benefit from help from a team of corporate volunteers?

Would you organization benefit from help from a team of corporate volunteers? We have volunteers willing to help out but we need to let them know what you want!

In the past, teams of volunteers have done painting buildings and fences; gardening and general environmental work; litter picks and tidy ups; as well as support events such as tea dances. Individuals have offered their expertise in health and safety; marketing; and business planning etc.

The corporate volunteers really enjoy their experience and see it as a great opportunity to learn more about the charity they are volunteering with. It's great for charities and community groups too as they benefit from a burst of energy and enthusiasm.

A team from Asda recently helped the Friends of Wigton Moor with some clearing of cherry laurel.

"The volunteers were a boost to us as well as making huge headway with a task that would have taken us a long time, we actually cleared the last of the laurel in the wood itself.  The other benefit I noticed was that several Friends who normally litter pick chose to work in the wood this time, so a duel benefit for us."

If your organization or group would benefit from some extra help, please get in touch and we can find you a willing bunch of volunteers.
