Women's and Girls Forum is about to be launched

Women's Lives Leeds will be launching the Women's and Girls Forum at the International Day for Women event - Leeds Town Hall 8 March 2017, with the first Forum meeting taking place 29 March 2017.

The final missing piece of the jigsaw will soon be in place, with Women's Lives Leeds launching a Women and Girls Forum for the city.

The Forum will provide opportunities for any woman, girl, independent or professional, or from any women centred group or organisation to contribute to strategic decision making and to influence and shape services for women and girls across the city.

It will be the “women and girls hub” for Leeds, enabling engagement of the women’s sector, it will drive forward the priorities for Women and Girls as identified by women and girls and make an active contribution towards the vision for Leeds to be “The Best City”.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday 29 March 2017 so check out the link for how to register to attend.
