Funding Available to Provide Free Drinking Water

Drinking enough water is really important to help the body function properly. Here is an opportunity to increase access to free drinking water for children and young people.

water Drinking enough water is really important to help the body function properly, that’s why when you provide drinking water as an alternative to sugar-sweetened beverages such as fizzy drinks, fruit drinks, and sports drinks; you promote children’s overall health and development.

The Children’s Health Fund is inviting organisations that want to improve access to free drinking water for the children and young people that they work with, or congregate in their spaces to apply for funding between £1,000 and £5,000.

The deadline for applications is midday on Friday 7th April 2017.

Please remember to click submit in the online system for your application to go forward for assessment.
The independent advisory board will meet in May to decide which applications will receive funding. Funding awards will be announced shortly after the meeting.
