Competitive tender and process for Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Cancer Prevention and Awareness

NHS Leeds South and East CCG are inviting interested parties to quote for their CVD and Cancer Prevention and Awareness Programme.

They envisage that a Community-led approach using Community Health Workers (CHW) will assist in targeting local hard-to-reach groups within the population of males and females to participate in cancer screening programmes and identify those patients who are high risk of Cardio-vascular disease.

They foresee that both the target population and their families should be reached, with particular attention and activity focusing on the hardest to reach groups, including males and individuals from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) backgrounds.

Please find further details below of the competitive opportunity for an organisation to deliver Community Health Worker Programme for CVD and Cancer prevention & awareness in specific areas of Leeds South and East.

The maximum amount they are willing to award is £49,999 (including VAT where applicable) and details of the requirement are enclosed within the service specification and further details can be found in the letter to possible providers.
