LeedsACTS! is a partnership between the three universities in Leeds and the Third Sector. We are looking for new third sectors groups to join the partnership group.

young adult male in library The LeedsACTS! Partnership Group (PSG) is made up of representatives from all three universities and the Third Sector, with Voluntary Action Leeds providing administrative support. The PSG focuses on delivering a series of events that faciltate opportunities for collaboration between the  two sectors to address issues in the city. Past events have covered such topics as Third Sector Data; a New Apporach to Housing; and Food in Leeds.

The most recent event was "Delivering Differently Together in Beeston Hill", which was a joint event between LeedsACTS! and the Third Sector Partnership Group, and focussed on creating a space for statutory and community-based organizations to explore opportunities to work differently together to better meet the needs of local people.

The LeedsACTS! PSG also oversees a pot of seedcorn funding aimed at stimulating new collaborative initiatives between third sector organizations and academic partners.

The LeedsACTS! PSG meets every two months to oversee the workplan. Members are encouraged to contribute their expertise, join the event committees and invite their networks to attend events. It's a great way  to work collaboratively to address needs across the city.

The next PSG meeting Tuesday 11 July 11:00 - 13:00.
