Third Sector Leeds is Recruiting an Independent Chair

TSL is seeking to appoint a dynamic individual as Independent Chair to support us realise our vision 'a third sector that keeps Leeds thriving’.

Leeds has a vibrant and diverse third sector which currently faces huge opportunities and significant challenges. As the strategic forum for the sector, TSL works to ensure the needs and interests of the third sector are effectively represented across the city.

Through the direction of the TSL Leadership Group, we run an ongoing programme of activity designed to both support the sector and advocate for it at a strategic level.  

Due to the departure of the current Chair, Dr Sally Hayes, we are looking to appoint an individual who can continue to provide independent scrutiny, challenge, leadership and strategic vision to TSL as we move forward.  To find out more about the role, please review the role description.

Drop in Session Voluntary Action Leeds (who provide support to TSL) are also holding a drop-in session for interested candidates on Thursday 22 June between 12 noon and 3pm, at Stringer House, Lupton Street, Leeds LS10 2QW.

Kindly note, that due to the importance of ensuring the role retains its independence, The Chair should not currently be employed by a third sector organisation in Leeds

Expenses
Please note that £3000 will be available towards expenses to fulfil this role. This payment is inclusive of all travel and transport costs and can be shared with the TSL Deputy Chair depending on the allocation of duties.
