Age Friendly Charter

It's your 'Time to Shine'; pledge to make Leeds an Age Friendly city.

Inspired by the Age Friendly Cities Network, Age Friendly Leeds is working to make Leeds a place where people of all ages can join in and be part of what the city has to offer. Our ambition is to be the best city for people to grow old in, which means we actively celebrate and promote positive ageing for all Leeds citizens. The Age Friendly Charter, developed by the Ageing Well Board in partnership with Time to Shine, an organisation dedicated to delivering unique and creative projects that engage socially isolated people, is designed to tackle age friendly domains within Leeds such as housing, outdoor spacing, transportation and social participation, to name but a few. If you or your organisation would like to sign up to the Charter, please send an email to emily@opforum.org.uk. Please include a .jpeg or .png of your company logo and Emily will add you to our list of Age Friendly-committed organisations.
