Bookings now open for TSL Goes Local

The theme for the next set of workshops is Community Cohesion and Resilience.

Third Sector Leeds logo Third Sector Leeds Goes Local workshops take place in each of the three areas of Leeds twice a year: East North East, West North West and South East. Past conversations have included poverty, inclusion, the environment, domestic abuse, and health and wellbeing.

The theme for the next set of workshops is Community Cohesion and Resilience.

In late June there was a citywide workshop examining how the third sector is already supporting community cohesion and building resilience within communities. Part of the workshop looked at work that Leeds City Council is doing which can support this activity, including the development of the Counter-Extremism Strategy. TSL would now like to take this important theme out to the localities to have local discussions about ongoing work, challenges and opportunities.

There will be the usual chance to network with a wide range of groups and organisations working in a similar area.
