FREE Suicide Prevention Training in the Community

Leeds Public Health in conjunction with Community Links training will be going out to the community to deliver suicide training.

As part of the Public Health suicide prevention strategy, Community Links will be delivering a number of free safeTALK suicide prevention sessions around our community. safeTALK aims to teach participants four basic steps to recognise if someone is having thoughts of suicide and how to connect them with resources that can help. This 3-hour course is free for all living and/or working in Leeds LS8, LS9, LS10, LS11, LS12, LS14 & LS15. This is a great opportunity for professionals who based on these postcodes as well as residents who may find this training very useful. The sessions are as follows: 19th October – Manor Fields Hall LS10, 1.30pm till 4.30pm   23rd November- LS14 Trust, LS14 – 9.30am till 12.30pm and another session at 1.30pm till 4.30pm   11th December – St Matthews Community Centre LS12 12.00pm – 3.30pm To book your space please contact us at
