New Leisure and Wellbeing Centre Inner East consultation

We are keen to gather input from the local community and key workers within the Inner East area, around a new Wellbeing & Leisure Centre being planned.

which would replace the existing Fearnville Leisure Centre once it has been built. if you know people who may have an interest in a new facility within the Inner East area,  Drop In information/feedback sessions Two drop in sessions open to the public are available for anyone to attend.  There will be an opportunity to find out more, chat to staff and input your views for the new site.   Tuesday 31st October  Drop in 11.30am – 1.30pm Thursday 2nd November Drop in 6pm  – 8pm   Third sector organisation / local partners workshop  - Thursday 9th November  1pm  – 3pm We would like to invite anyone working or volunteering within the Inner East area to a workshop to enable us to share further information about the plans, gather some insight into how the space could be used, what activities service users may like to do, what facilities people may like to see, any thoughts how can help make the new facility a resource for the whole community.  It really is an opportunity to utilise your insight into helping design a new wellbeing centre which will be of benefit and an asset to the whole local community.  Please email your interest to attend to karen.peck@leeds.gov.uk     Further information about the plans can be found at            active.leeds.gov.uk/fearnvilleconsultation     If anyone wishes to email in any thoughts they can do so via sportconsultation@leeds.gov.uk or you’re welcome to feedback via myself.  Feel free to get in touch if you have any enquiries and I’ll do my best to help, or will capture your questions to feed back to the appropriate person.
